The Tech 10 further improves sensitivity, fit, comfort and safety. Functionality, flexibility and lightness have also been improved thanks to the reduction of the material volume (reduced by 400gr). New technical solutions have been introduced such as the new flexible front plate, the asymmetric double pivot arms and the Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP). • A revolutionary innovation for the Tech 10 is the introduction of Alpinestars patented flexible front frame.
• Designed to 'float' freely between the lower and upper boot construction, the Frontal Flex Frame acts as a shock absorber by distributing energy throughout the boot frame while controlling forward and rearward flex, progressively releasing force that dampens and absorbs impact energies.
• Asymmetrical dual pivot arms on the boot frame.
• A unique feature of the Tech 10 is the ankle control system developed in the outer shell construction, which allows for natural ankle movement, vertical compression control and enhanced impact protection.
• Asymmetrical medial and lateral dual pivot system for enhanced levels of flexibility and precision for independent and synchronized movements.
• Higher location of the medial pivot arm reduces material volume on the bottom of the boot, creating more room for the patented internal ankle system to have free movement and improve control.
• Reducing volume on the inner side also reduces abrasion where the boot is in contact with the bike and improves grip and feel.
• Redesigned dual-density TPU rear blade system designed to prevent hyperextension while offering improved flex control and impact resistance.
• One of the defining features of the Tech 10 is the redesigned biomechanical internal ankle brace.
• Together with the outer chassis of the boot, the ankle brace provides vertical and lateral protection against ankle and leg compression and rotation and progressive damping of torsional forces during an accident, while allowing for natural freedom of movement.

• Built into the Tech 10's unique lightweight, one-piece co-injected foot chassis is the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP), an innovative safety feature that includes a fully integrated collapsible heel area with expanded polyfoam to absorb high-impact energies during a crash.
• DCHP features a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the effect of excessive and potentially damaging energy transfer to the ankle and lower leg.
• DHCP has been developed and tested on the demanding professional Supercross and Motocross circuits.
• Anatomically shaped shin and calf pads.
• The Tech 10 design is slimmer and more aerodynamic with a contoured calf protector that wraps ergonomically around the rear leg.
