Helmet SHOEI JO black matte.The J-O is a compact and modern jet helmet but taking care of the classic touch.  Shoei develops a helmet considered an icon for the lovers of the Customs and Café Racer.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• The J-O shell integrates the AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix Multi-Fiber) technology that offers high rigidity and light weight. The shell structure is composed of several layers of tough fiberglass and organic fibers to absorb impacts with optimal rigidity.
• We use a shock-absorbing interior made up of two parts of different density. When an impact occurs, it is absorbed progressively and effectively in proper balance with the shell stiffness. The precise placement of the EPS results in a more compact and lightweight design.
• Easy to handle, offering a perfect fit at all times.
• The visor is one of the important points affecting rider safety. The J-O is equipped with the CJ-3 visor, designed and developed exclusively for it. During the development process we set ourselves the goal of obtaining the highest performance, but without sacrificing style to maintain that vintage touch of the helmets of yesteryear. The screen has a rounded shape emulating the shape of the classic glasses. The lower part is very similar to the old bubble shields.
• Riding with an uncovered face is a big problem for the rider, not only because of the inconvenience caused by the wind, but also for safety. To address this point, tests were carried out in various situations to determine the most effective screen length, taking into account the fact that the shape of the face and the length of the nose vary from person to person.
• With these points in mind, it was decided to equip the J-O shield with an adjustment mechanism. The height of the shield can be adjusted in 3 positions in an easy way without additional buttons thanks to the points located at the end of the shield.
• The screen can be easily removed without the need for tools. In addition, the CJ-3 is available in yellow or smoked.
• Helmet interiors are essential factors for a well-fitting and comfortable helmet. The J-O combines both factors but we have also matched the classic styling. As with other models, the center and side padding are fully removable for easy maintenance.
• The cheek padding ensures a firm fit thanks to multiple layers of polyurethane of different hardness depending on the area of the rider's face. We paid a lot of attention to the profile of the side padding and the hardness of the polyurethane foams was adjusted part by part to eliminate possible gaps, thus improving the noisiness according to the profile of the goggles. The central cushion matches the contour of the rider's head thanks to the 3D Full Support Inner system. If a perfect fit is desired, 3 sizes of side padding and 3 additional sizes of central padding are available.
• Consideration has been given to the detail of incorporating an attachment strap on the back for riders who are classic eyewear enthusiasts.
