This evolution of the J-Cruise incorporates Shoei's latest technological advances to ensure greater safety, increased comfort and functionality in addition to a more compact and aerodynamic design. The J-Cruise 2 helmet also offers an improved ventilation system; it allows a large airflow intake to provide greater cooling inside and therefore greater comfort while riding. 

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• New QSV-2 sun visor with high optical performance; features anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment and 99% UV protection. It is 5 mm longer than the QSV-1 version of the J-Cruise. This significantly minimizes light entry between the lower edge of the visor and the eyes. 
• The visor is easy to operate from the outside, even when wearing gloves. It has a more accentuated arc to avoid annoying friction with the nose. 
• Approved according to the European standard for sunglasses (DIN EN 1836). Easily interchangeable without the use of tools. Moreover, it has a more accentuated nose piece to prevent the visor from rubbing against the nose.
• Transparent CJ-2 screen designed to offer a wide field of vision free of distortions. It is also anti-scratch and offers 99% UV protection. 
• The CJ-2 has a thicker bottom edge to prevent wind turbulence. 
• It incorporates pins to optionally add the Pinlock Evo anti-fogging film. This film ensures clear vision in all weather conditions. The screen can be removed in just a few seconds without tools.
• Highly efficient ventilation system thanks to numerous tests in the Shoei wind tunnel. It has managed to significantly reduce the feeling of heat and humidity inside the helmet. It has 3 upper air inlets, one more than the J-Cruise. This increases the airflow by more than 25%. 
• The rear extractors have also been optimized to evacuate hot air from inside the helmet more quickly (approximately 20% more than the J-Cruise).
• As with the Neotec 2 and Gt-Air 2 models, the Shoei J-Cruise 2 is predisposed to accommodate the Sena SENA SRL / SRL2 communication system that integrates seamlessly with the helmet design (sold separately). 
• Aerodynamics are not affected thanks to its studied design that allows the intercom to remain completely unnoticed. 
• The helmet has 2 triangle-shaped areas at the base on each side to attach the intercom module and antenna. Each unit is attached through tiny tabs in the slots.
• The battery is installed in the gap between the shell and the inner liner in the rear area of the helmet. 
• Each area has a cover, so that if the intercom is not worn, its aesthetics will not be damaged.
• Fully removable and washable inner padding. Central 3D Full Support Inner padding for maximum comfort. Cheek padding made with different layers of polyurethane in various densities for better fit and comfort. Removable padding in the ear area to reduce noise. Side padding design optimized for goggle use. Shoei has paid special attention to the side padding and the hardness of the polyurethane foams; this eliminates possible gaps, significantly improving noise levels according to the goggle profiles. 
• For a customized fit there are up to 3 sizes of side padding and 3 sizes of center padding (sold separately).
