Boots ALPINESTARS Tech 5 bright red / dark red / alpine blue. Following the successful and iconic Tech 10 and Tech 7, the new Tech 5 is an advanced multi-material, multi-panel construction boot that further strengthens Alpinestars line of class-leading motocross and off-road boots. Incorporating an innovative microfiber chassis that is extremely durable and lightweight, a biomechanical medial pivot system for great levels of support and stability and extended accordion flex zones.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• Instep made of innovative abrasion resistant microfiber with synthetic polymer toe cap. The microfiber main material offers high levels of water resistance, durability and improved weight savings. The material ensures an even fit for long-term wear and is easy to maintain and clean.
• Redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones made of lightweight microfiber for comfort, control and support.
• Contoured advanced polymer core structure wraps the upper of the boot to provide structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing for excellent levels of controlled flex.
• High modulus polymer shin plate with an anatomical profile for superior impact and abrasion resistance. Contoured shin guard allows for a greater variety of adjustments and features an adjustable Velcro® panel for a customized and secure closure.
• Medially oriented biomechanical pivot system links the lower and upper portions of the boot and provides forefoot and rearfoot flexibility and structural support. Both the inward-facing upper and lower panels are constructed of a specifically formulated polymer with a grip sculpting pattern for maximum contact with the bike and improved abrasion resistance.
• The TPR rear gaiter on top of the TPU calf protector provides protection and comfort.
• Tech-5 boot is CE certified.
• Innovative buckle closure system incorporates polymer and fiberglass buckle arms and high-impact aluminum bridge closures for durability and weight savings. - The buckle system features memory and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure and improved riding performance and safety. All buckles are easily replaceable. - TPU buckle straps have an ergonomic profile to promote high levels of forward flex.
• Innovative one-piece TPU injected dual compound foot shell with excellent impact and abrasion resistance and unmatched levels of safety. This layer is reinforced by a metal shank on the inside and a toe cap reinforcement co-injected in a harder compound.
• The unique dual-compound sole is seamlessly integrated into the multi-density foot bed structure with built-in support. The outsole offers superior durability, grip and feel while riding. The sole is replaceable.
• TPU heel patch connected to the shell and TPU side/medial parts offers protection and support.
• Soft polyethylene foam surrounding the ankles and collar offers shock absorbing performance, plus a full textile inner lining for comfort.
• Replaceable anatomical EVA footbed with textile lining in the upper.
