Inspiration for the Honda SMX waterproof softshell jacket came from a combination of motocross and urban motorcycling designs. Material selection for the jacket was influenced by MX elements, in addition to the sporty fit and graphics. The jacket also incorporates performance features specific to road riding, such as DFS Lite external shoulders, as well as a waterproof membrane for additional all-weather protection. The Honda SMX WP is the perfect jacket for any motorsports enthusiast. The Honda SMX WP jacket is made with 600D polyester fabric and 3-layer stretch softshell, providing an optimal combination of durability, comfort, light weight and freedom of movement.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

  • The Honda SMX WP jacket is Tech-Air® ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 airbag system for complete upper body protection.
  • Jacket has a fixed 2-layer waterproof membrane for proven wet weather performance.
  • Sporty design with body-mapped fit and pre-curved sleeves for optimal riding performance.
  • Removable thermal liner (100 g body/80 g sleeves) allows the jacket to be configured to suit the weather.
  • Nucleon Flex Plus armor on shoulders and elbows (Nucleon Level 1 and Nucleon Level 1 and 2 back protectors available as accessory upgrade) offers optimal impact and abrasion resistance, while being highly flexible for optimal comfort.
  • DFS Lite (Dynamic Friction Shield) shoulders for increased abrasion resistance.
  • Rear of jacket is elongated for improved coverage when riding.
  • Elastic drawstring waist for secure closure.
  • Two zippered front pockets, two chest pockets, one interior waterproof document pocket and two interior lining pockets for secure storage of valuables.
  • The front zipper closure is designed to be durable and easy to use.
