The SMX Air Sport Jacket features a main chassis constructed with technical mesh on the rider's abdomen, back and inner arms, combined with 450D poly fabric reinforcement on the outer arms and shoulders. The SMX Air also incorporates perforated 450D poly fabric on the upper chest for excellent levels of airflow during the hot summer months. Extended polyamide stretch material has been incorporated into the rider's back, shoulders and sides, with a high density stretch material in the upper back. The stretch material provides an adaptable fit and a high level of freedom of movement, as well as offering the perfect expansion capability for use with the Tech-Air® 5 airbag system. As the SMX Air jacket has been designed to provide superior ventilation, the jacket also comes with a removable windproof liner to help reduce airflow when not needed, offering optimal weather comfort and versatility. External DFS Lite shoulder sliders combined with Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 shoulder, elbow and forearm armor provide impact protection for the SMX Air Jacket, resulting in an overall CE Level A rating.
