Virtually every component of the Supertech R boot, Alpinestars' ultimate race boot worn by a roster of past and present champions, has undergone a rigorous program of upgrades to further enhance its performance characteristics. With innovations derived from feedback from Alpinestars' involvement in top flight racing, key elements include a newly redesigned front flex area, redesigned rear gusset, redesigned upper gusset, new toggle and shin guard, new shin slider and new inner liner. all of which enhance the comfort, protection and performance of this boot to a new class-leading level.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• New synthetic microfiber panel on medial side for increased abrasion resistance and improved feel in contact with the bike.
• New TPU shifter for increased protection on the lower medial side.
• New TPU shin guard has been redesigned for greater shock absorption performance, improving abrasion resistance in a key area.
• New replaceable shin slider for increased abrasion resistance.
• New TPU stretch panel design with zipper for easier entry and exit and a tighter, optimized fit.
• Main upper material constructed with microfiber for optimal abrasion resistance while offering high levels of flexibility.
• New front flex area for improved impact abrasion while securing the natural forefoot and rearfoot.
• New front flex area increases ventilation and airflow for increased breathability.
• Replaceable TPU/aluminum slider co-injected into the toe with a simple bolt-on system that protects the toe area from abrasion resistance.
• Newly designed replaceable heel plate slider offers increased sliding performance and protection in the event of a crash.
• The inner liner is equipped with a new external toe cap with soft TPU reinforcement for superior impact protection and additional ankle padding for added protection, stability and cushioning during natural foot movement.

• Rear gusset redesigned in stretch microfiber to enhance natural forefoot and rearfoot movement.

• Micro-adjustable ratchet closure at the top of the boot for optimized fit.
• Outsole constructed with a lightweight rubber compound for excellent grip on the footpegs.
