When we look at the Tech 5 we see the impact that these 2 models have had on the final result. The low design of the foot area and the absolutely flat inner area of the boots are certain peculiarities received from the Tech 10. The solid closure system and an accessible cost have been the peculiarities received from the Tech 3. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• Redesigned instep and accordion Achilles Flex zones made of lightweight microfiber for superior comfort, control and support.
• Contoured advanced polymer core structure envelopes the upper boot for structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing for excellent levels of controlled flex.
• Anatomically contoured, high modulus polymer Shin plate for superior impact and abrasion resistance. Contoured Shin plate allows for a wider range of fittings and features an adjustable Velcro® panel for customized and secure closure.
• Biomechanical medial-facing pivot system links the lower and upper portions of the boot and provides forefoot and rearfoot flexibility and structural support. Both inward facing upper and lower panels are made from specifically formulated polymers with grip sculpting patterns for maximum contact with the bike and improved abrasion resistance.
• TPR rear gaiter on top of TPU calf protector provides protection and comfort.
• Innovative buckle closure system incorporates polymer and fiberglass buckle arms and high-impact aluminum bridge closures for durability and weight savings.
• The buckle system features memory and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure and improved riding performance and safety. All buckles are easily replaceable.
• TPU buckle straps are ergonomically profiled to promote high levels of forward flex.
• One-piece injected TPU dual compound foot shell with excellent impact and abrasion resistance and unmatched levels of safety. This shell is reinforced by a metal shank on the inside and Co-injected toe cap reinforcement in harder compound.
• Exclusive dual compound sole integrates seamlessly into the multi-density foot base structure with built-in support. Outsole offers superior durability, grip and feel while riding. Outsole is replaceable.
• TPU heel patch connected with shell and lateral/medial TPU pieces offers protection and support.
• Soft poly-foam ankle surround and collar offer shock absorbing performance, plus full textile inner lining for comfort.
• Replaceable anatomical anatomical EVA footbed with textile lining on top.
