Boots ALPINESTARS Tech 3 black. The Alpinestars Tech 3 boots have been developed based on the top of the range Tech 5 model. Their anatomical profile and high level of protection, make them ideal for those who are starting in the practice of Off-Road and those who seek a durable and lightweight boots at a very competitive cost.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• The primary materials used in the construction of the Tech 3 boots are microfiber and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).  Microfiber is a material similar to leather in terms of comfort and adaptability, but which, as an added value, offers greater strength and durability. This material is particularly noticeable in the areas where greater flexion is required, such as the front and back of the boot, as well as in the upper for greater comfort. The thermoplastic polyurethane offers impact protection and firmness to the boot and can be found in its thicker version in the areas most prone to impacts, such as the toe box, toe box, heel and shin and with less density in the ankle area and inner part of the boot, which leaves a degree of controlled torsion of the boot to promote movement on the motorcycle and avoid injuries.
• The internal area of the boot has been developed to be as flat as possible to provide a greater area in contact with the motorcycle chassis and thus increase the control of the motorcycle. This internal area has been reinforced with a metal plate for greater strength.
• The closure system consists of three micrometric closures with memory, made of thermoplastic material and a tab with Velcro adjustment in the upper area. The three micrometric closures are replaceable. Inside the boot there is a synthetic PU gaiter that prevents mud and water from entering the boot, without being fully waterproof.
• The inside of the boot is made of breathable textile material and has soft foam reinforcements in the ankle and collar areas for greater comfort and better shock absorption.
• It incorporates an interchangeable anatomical insole made of EVA material and covered in fabric on the upper part, which gives support to the arch of the foot and comfort.
• The sole is made with a rubber compound exclusive to Alpinestars that gives a high level of grip on each and every one of the surfaces and is designed to offer control and feel. This sole is replaceable.
• Tech 3 boots are CE EN 13634:2010 certified.
