The design of the Tech 10 is guided by three priorities: improving functionality, weight performance and safety, and reducing material volume. • Removable dual-compound anatomical footbed includes EVA for comfort and support and aids in even weight distribution.
• Patented grip-sculptured outsole offers superior footrest performance, grip and mud and water evacuation.
• Center sole insert features a micro-grip design and lateral hook-and-loop grip. Easily replaceable
• Triple buckle closure system incorporates a nylon and fiberglass composite for durability and strength.
• Buckles include cold-forged, high-impact bridge locks for precision and strength.
• The closure system includes counter-locking, which doubles the security of the closure, and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning memory for easy, precise closure and improved riding performance and safety. 
• The front protection incorporates a dual closure system with an internal microfiber flap, plus hook-and-loop closures for a precise-fit closure under the buckle that provides greater micro-adjustable precision and comfort to operate.
• Soft microfiber gaiter helps seal out excessive water and dirt entry.
• Poly-fabric lining with 3D open-cell foam incorporates anti-slip suede in the heel area, keeping the foot situated within the boot.

• Integrated into the Tech 10's unique, lightweight one-piece co-injected foot chassis is the patented Dynamic Compression Heel Protector (DCHP), an innovative safety feature that includes a fully integrated collapsible heel area with expanded polyester foam to absorb high-impact energies during a fall. The DHCP incorporates a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the effect of excessive, potentially injury-causing energy being transferred to the ankle and lower leg. The DHCP has been used by Alpinestars athletes in the demanding environments of professional Supercross and Motocross.
