This high quality fabric has important characteristics such as: long-lasting waterproofness, high breathability, excellent cold resistance and high wear resistance. The unique microporous structure of GORE-TEX expanded PTFE contains approximately 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are approximately 20 000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor. So while liquid water cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX membrane, sweat or water vapor evaporates easily.

 The result is a totally waterproof barrier that allows the boot to be used in all weather conditions, guaranteeing maximum comfort and optimum breathability.
