With a number of features derived directly from MotoGP, the GP Tech v5 incorporates a new race-pattern construction for an improved, adaptable fit, while offering advanced abrasion resistance and impact protection.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

• Made from a blend of kangaroo leather and racing cowhide for superior abrasion resistance, with double-layer leather in all areas most prone to abrasion, including the elbows, forearms, seat, hips, and back.
• An adhered Kevlar® mesh provides increased resistance to cuts, tears, and abrasions, as well as significantly reducing heat transfer to the rider's body generated by any friction during a slide on the asphalt.
• Expanded stretch Kevlar® crotch panel for improved rider mobility, with optimized stitching for a high level of comfort.
• The new design of the upper shoulder and neck cut features a smooth seam line from the neck to the upper shoulders to provide maximum mobility for the rider and reduce pressure on the neck when crouching in a racing position.
• New accordion design at the waist for improved ergonomic and aerodynamic performance. Positioned lower for better functionality, but without additional material, this panel features an innovative pre-stressed 3D design with a 3D curve on the sides that improves aerodynamic performance and reduces material volume.
• The speed hump is specifically designed for use with the Alpinestars S-R10 helmet to achieve maximum aerodynamic performance when used together.
• Silicone patch strategically placed on the inside of the legs to improve grip and contact with the motorcycle tank.
• Equipped with Alpinestars GP Tech knee slider. Optimized for track use and anatomically designed for optimal contact, even wear distribution, and lighter weight, its slim profile with hook and loop and strategically positioned V-cuts allows for more precise placement on the knee while preventing material wrinkling, further enhancing aerodynamic performance.
• Features a competition cut for a more precise fit.
• Made from competition leather for superior abrasion resistance, reinforced with a brand new leather patch strategically placed on the inside of the elbow.
• Extensive perforations for optimal airflow and breathability.
• An aerodynamic layer bonded to the upper arms and back flattens the surface of the material to minimize air resistance, while providing greater abrasion resistance and structural strength.
• Triple stitching on the outside of the legs includes flatlock double stitching throughout the suit for improved abrasion and tear resistance.
• The lining throughout the suit incorporates integrated padding for increased impact resistance.
• Large elastic Lycra inserts in strategic areas promote freedom of movement.
• Pre-curved sleeves with a flexible, tapered design at the wrist for greater freedom of movement, and an angled zipper to minimize pressure on the wrist.
• Lightweight, breathable stretch fabric at the lower leg allows riders to wear the suit over or under the inner bootie of an Alpinestars Supertech R boot.
• Mesh lining for increased breathability and comfort.

• Level 2 Nucleon PLASMA protectors for forearms and knees, with the GP DFS (Dynamic Friction Shield) RR kit on elbows, shoulders, and knees, for competition-grade protection against impacts and abrasions.
• TECH-AIR® READY: the GP Tech v5 is compatible with Tech-Air® 7x and features a fully floating installation with front zipper connectors. It is also optimized for use with Tech-Air® 5 and Tech-Air® 10 airbag systems to offer maximum protection to the rider.
